Leah is the heart behind CuddleCubs Pet Care and a true animal lover, with a special soft spot for dogs. Her passion for caring for animals shines through in everything she does, making her someone you can wholeheartedly trust with your beloved fur babies.
With a Certificate IV in Animal Care & Grooming, a Pet First Aid qualification, and years of hands-on experience, Leah is well-equipped to provide top-quality care. She's also currently deepening her expertise with further studies in animal behaviour and training.
Before launching CuddleCubs, Leah worked in Dental Assisting, Recruitment, and Travel — and yes, she’s been to over 50 countries!
Her diverse background and compassionate nature make her not just a skilled professional, but someone who truly connects with both pets and people.
Karemie is a passionate animal lover with a lifelong connection to dogs. Having grown up with pups and parented four rescues—two of whom were born deaf—she’s no stranger to the unique needs and incredible resilience of our four-legged friends. She’s also opened her heart and home to a range of foster dogs over the years, including a tripod, a spirited senior, and a blind sweetheart—each one deepening her appreciation for the strength and spirit of dogs.
In 2023, Karemie earned her Certificate in Canine Remedial Massage, and has recently completed a Certificate in Dog Psychology and Training, adding to her already impressive understanding of canine wellbeing.
For the past six years, she’s been a dedicated dog walker and is now proud to be part of the CuddleCubs Crew. Karemie loves being surrounded by dogs and believes they have endless wisdom to share with us about life, love, and living in the moment.
Morrisey’s love for dogs started early—she began working in doggy daycares at just 14 and hasn’t looked back since! Now in Year 12, she’s balancing school with her passion for pups, and we’re lucky to have her as part of the CuddleCubs Crew.
She first joined us through her best friend Gracie and quickly became a familiar face (you might’ve spotted her lending a hand at our 1st birthday celebrations!). For Morrisey, spending time at CuddleCubs is her happy place. She adores being around the dogs and says it’s her escape from the everyday.
At home, she’s dog mum to her furry bestie Lily, who’s nearly 7.
When she’s not cuddling pups, you’ll find her dreaming about travel, diving into Disney, enjoying skincare routines, bingeing Netflix, or hanging out with her family.
Ruby has had a lifelong love for animals, especially dogs, and grew up surrounded by furry companions. She’s completed her Certificate II in Animal Studies and has her sights set on expanding her knowledge with future studies in dog grooming.
For the past five years, Ruby has been working independently as a pet sitter, where she’s known for treating every pup as if they were her own. Her care is genuine, her heart is huge, and her bond with dogs is undeniable.
Now part of the CuddleCubs Crew, Ruby brings fun, love, and a whole lot of cuddles to every visit. She’s completely smitten with the dogs—so much so, we have to gently remind her she can’t take them all home (even though she’d love to!).
Rhonda may be an accountant by profession, but her true passion has always been working with dogs. She’s deeply fascinated by the healing power of dogs and their natural ability to reduce stress and anxiety in people.
Over the years, Rhonda has rehomed and trained a lively Groodle named Ted, volunteered as a Puppy Educator for Assistance Dogs Australia, and in 2021, was adopted by Honey, a former racing Greyhound.
When she’s not caring for dogs, Rhonda enjoys gardening, sewing, and traveling. Whether she’s snorkeling with turtles, hiking up mountains, or house- and dog-sitting in Australia or the UK, you’ll find her embracing life with a sense of adventure and a love for all things canine.
Risa has always had a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs. With a Certificate II in Animal Care, she’s well-equipped to provide the best care for your pups. She’s the proud owner of two adorable dogs—Tina, a Pomeranian-Toy Poodle mix living in Japan, and Coco (aka "Fluff Puff"), a Maltese-Shih Tzu who’s a regular member of the Thursday crew at CuddleCubs.
Risa loves working with dogs because of their loving nature, playful personalities, and the joy they bring to her day. Being around dogs is always a rewarding experience, and their happiness is what makes her own day brighter.
Norma is a 6-year-old rescued British Bulldog, and she’s truly the most lovable girl around! While she’s still learning how to handle excited dogs (her solution is to launch into the action with true bulldog style!), she brings so much joy to everyone she meets.
Norma loves belly rubs, head scratches, and anything that involves food or naps. Adopted in March 2022, she’s living her best life—heading to daycare every day for fun and cuddles, and getting plenty of treats each night.
Norma would have absolutely charmed Chen, and we know they would have been fast friends.
Franco is a rescue Toy Poodle with a story that tugs at the heartstrings. Leah discovered his profile on the Pet Rescue website and immediately fell in love. Having been in four different homes within his first six months, he was in need of stability, love, and guidance—things he’s found in abundance at CCHQ.
Franco is a bit shy around new people and refuses to use the doggy door, but don’t let that fool you—he’s full of charm! He absolutely loves carrying Leah’s shoes around the house (they’re clearly his favorite toys). With the best little pawsonality, Franco has settled in beautifully and fits right in with the team.

Chenzo was the light of my life. Forever hungry, forever snoring—and now, forever at peace.
Those lucky enough to meet Chen knew what a truly good boy he was. He’d reverse into you like a little truck, sit on your foot just to feel close, and leave your clothes dusted in white floof like a badge of honor.
May you rest peacefully, my sweet Chen.
I love you, always. 💛🐾
